June at Rays Kids Preschool marked the start of a warm and meaningful journey. Children took their first steps into school life with joy, curiosity, and growing confidence. We began with a parent orientation, sharing our vision and the EFFECT model. It was heartwarming to hear parents describe their children in their own words. We also walked parents through our handbook and shared a digital copy for easy access.
In the classroom, children enjoyed plenty of play alongside sensorial exploration, early phonics and math activities. Circle time, snack time, and gentle routines helped them settle in smoothly. They formed bonds with peers, teachers, and their new environment. Yoga Day, Father’s Day cards, and our first birthday made June extra special. Every experience helped lay a joyful foundation for the year ahead.
We began the year by welcoming parents into our world at Rays Kids Preschool. We introduced our vision, EFFECT model, daily routines, & team. Most meaningfully, parents shared words describing their child—helping us begin a partnership rooted in understanding & care.
Bright smiles, curious eyes, and little feet stepping in for the very first time—our first day was filled with wonder. Children explored their new classrooms, met their teachers, and posed with their smiles at the selfie stand, marking a joyful start to preschool life.
Even in their first week, our children joined in with excitement for Yoga Day. Guided by their teachers, they gently stretched, balanced, and breathed—showing us how beautifully little ones can connect with mindful movement and moments of calm.
We celebrated our very first birthday of the year—Nilani’s—with a cake and cheerful smiles. It was a simple, sweet moment that brought joy and a gentle sense of togetherness to the classroom.
In a quiet classroom moment, children created handmade cards for their dads. With colours, stickers, and simple words, they expressed love and pride in the sincerest way—straight from the heart.
June was all about building bonds with peers, teachers, and their environment. Children experienced routines like circle time, playtime, snack time, and explored learning through hands-on activities.
